Vertical Bridge owns many Broadcast Towers. I wonder if VZ is looking at leasing space for Remote Radio Heads, Antennas, Raycaps, on FM and HOT AM tower's. I could see it. Those towers are already there. No difficulty with local governments on new tower builds. And the Broadcasters could use VZ fiber VPN for their digital audio and control backwards. Kind of a win/win for both parties. Vz could use the vertical space, Broadcasters could use the high speed fiber.

RIP, one year upcoming: 5/23/2022 Charles Lee of Greenwich, CT, former CEO at GTE and Verizon, dies at age 82; a steadfast champion of education.
Mr. Chuck Lee, GTE, was the issue when employed by Verizon displacing Sir Ivan at the top for the newly erected Verizon.
It was Airtouch and Bell Atlantic's failure to outbid Vodafone that resulted in Vodafone being sm--k dab in the middle of the merger of Bell Atlantic and GTE. If Bell could not acquire Air Touch then GTE would not be allowed to sell wireless services in Tampa, Dallas, or San Diego.
Airtouch and their HQ in the middle of nowhere DFW is also how VZ got stuck with 4th string QB Lowell.
Bell Atlantic and Vodafone AirTouch Plc agree to combine their U.S. wireless companies, including Bell Atlantic Mobile and AirTouch Cellular, into a single joint venture.
