To the poster that said she doesn’t buy into racist targets, you aren’t black so you weren’t safe. We lost a great supervisor who took a ton of great work ethic and knowledge with her last Friday. She left on her own after 4 years, and when I talked to my coworkers about it, they said The good ones always leave. It’s not the same without her.
Lol everything lately has been DEI. All leadership workshops were dei cr-p. Start there and HR if you want to cut. No value bs jobs.
Ref: CHC position elimination- this is the MO as part of M&A. Its not organic growth but rather take over and RIFs to show artificial growth. As they get bigger they can use $$ to buy legisl&&tors to circumvent regulations/compliance. CHC acquisition was not supposed to be passed- DOJ raised concern but one "judge" allowed it to go through. There you have it!
BTW, no more CHC its all acquired entities all considered to be part of this one big "happy family"... NOT.
This is affecting Change Healthcare too. Our VP just announced his position was eliminated.
I don't buy into the racist target theory. I am a female, always had great MAPs, am Asian and I was laid off.
I was part of a bundle of contractors and they laid off every single one of our black contractors months ago. They kept some of the mediocre white men though.

I was asked to rank high performers and will unfortunately need to cut some USA based employees in lieu of Offshore. This was requested by leadership.
Earlier this week I was asked to rank my team and pick 2 names. I had one 3 on my team that happens to be black woman and was asked to pick a different name. Now cutting a high performing.
OP is speaking the truth. You know. As usual the slanderous discrediting of character happens when you mention it in any form. Affirmative Action is very prominent at this company. It’s an elephant in the room and I’m glad it’s safely done on the forum anonymously. Target on your back if you bring it up at work. Only it’s not just women, it’s men also.
