Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What’s with the sudden recent emergence of the executives from their caves?

  • Charlie’s Townhall today
  • New burst of “Get to your Leaders” 45 minute teleconference interviews
  • Darrel Cronk making the rounds at WFA today

Feels like something’s up….

Either they are so pompous as to think their very presence will make us all eager to RTO. Ot they mistakenly think they can “re-engage us” now, after 3 1/2 years of toxic leadership.

Who cares to meet and talk to any of these Di-k heads? They are just making more lists to get rid of people. They invite all 25 plus year employees to a dinner hosted by HR just to see who to ax. Stay away from these toxic managers They have no interest in meeting anyone or getting any feedback that they don’t agree with

It’s true. Darrel Cronk, the CIO of WIM, was more than 30 minutes late to a Meet and Greet with his own employees. After people were asked to change their schedules to attend the meeting. It’s disgraceful.

A. He can’t tell the time.
B. He doesn’t possess the professionalism to follow a schedule.

  1. He wants to prove how “busy and important” he is.
  2. Typical of the behavior and culture for Wells Fargo’s entitled Senior Management team

G. He thinks the minions have nothing better to do than wait for him.

No excuse.

Yes- that is correct, they have reaped what they’ve sowed. They have actively created the toxic environment under which the employees are not going to feel honored or interested to “get to know” the leaders who have done nothing but disrespect us, devalue us, steal from us, blame us, destabilize us, undermine us, and threaten/cut/offshore our jobs.

That’s like Vladimir Putin hosting a co-----l party for the citizens of Ukraine and wondering why no one wanted to have a drink with him. Poor misunderstood Vladimir, “He’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.“

you do realize that most of the execs, CS included, host town halls each quarter, usually a couple weeks post earnings.

Meet and greet that a$&hole Charlie? Why waste anyones time. No thanks. If I met him I would ask him why he paid off the people he did. Just because you don’t live near a hub? D-mb and stupid decision. If these are the kinds of decisions this CEO makes he should resign immediately. He is not capable of running anything.

In my opinion it is all theatrics intended to portray the benefits of being together in person and the importance of the RTO and hub approach.

In reality it is very tone deaf to have all of these upper management execs traveling around to hubs all of the time while continuing to cut costs everywhere else.

There are a lot more in person town halls and upper management “visits” under the Charlie regime than there ever were before.

I wouldn't know if they were out and about or not. I have a job to do, wasting time listening to temporary execs ramble isn't it.

Since you are so in the know, you must be aware that Cronk was scheduled for a Meet and Greet at 4:30 today. All employees were told to work in the office today and to cancel personal after-work plans in order to attend the Meet and Greet. By 5:00 he was still a no-show, therefore many employees left. He can continue to disrespect his employees from New York, no need to pay to fly him in town for that.

It was a sad PR move that backfired. People now think he is even a bigger mirin after listening to him.

Throw them back in the cave and put a big boulder in front to keep them there.

Why all the travel when do much company money is spent on teleconferencing hardware and software?

The whole point of a teleconference is to remove the need for being physically face to face.

Sc--w this company.

Usual ignorance is very much typical of this Board. The entire WIM leadership is in St. Louis this week. St. Louis is a major WIM hub. What is so wrong with them being there? People on this Board will complain when it rains outside. So pathetic.

You must not be in the know because all of the WIM OC is in STL this week. Curious why call out just Cronk?
