I know nothing at all. But track record demonstrates that of course there will be another layoff. There always. Assume you may be next, because performance does not play into the equation.
Cisco has its positives, but job security isn't one of them unless you are in a special group. How you get in that group is beyond my understanding.
If the comments in later threads are true and Cisco did allocated $200M for restructuring in Q4 then that was the big news. If anyone remembers what the previous layoffs cost per body that may give you a ballpark as to how many are going over the next few months.

Perhaps but I do note that in November Cisco wisely postponed Illuminate due to the optics with the LR. I would be surprised if they keep the upcoming one which is still on the schedule and also announce the LR.
