You're all saying that. Because Robinson is a woman. You're so much more tolerant of the terrible things done when men are the one's doing them. Just like your praise for Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

And why would there be any change in sight? Mr Ford said that this is the strongest executive leadership team he has ever seen.

Like it or not, Ford is the second best selling EV manufacturer (Mach E) in the US behind Tesla - who we just partnered with.

In one December 2018 email quoted by the Free Press, a director of a Ford vehicle line at the time told his ex-wife: “As you probably have heard, Ford is in the process of a ‘Smart Organization Redesign’ that is targeted to eliminate 25% of the LL6 through LL2 [a salaried pay grade rating] population by 2nd quarter 2019. They are targeting the most senior leaders first (29+ years of service and 50+ years old).”

The Free Press cited an email from Ford’s “chief people and employee experience officer,” Kiersten Robinson, who wrote to the consulting group in May 2019 shortly before the layoffs were carried out. Robinson described a board of directors meeting on the layoffs in which they “challenged” whether the layoffs were “aggressive enough” and pressed to make sure “junior” (i.e., younger and lower-cost) employees would be elevated after the cuts: “Thank you again for your help with the BoD [board of directors] discussion on SRD [Smart Redesign]. Overall it went well. There was sensitivity in the room to the employee sentiment, a desire to understand the communications plan, challenging whether we are being aggressive enough and a request to understand/ensure we are using this process to identify and elevate junior talent in the organization. Not sure how we realize this last request. Would love your thoughts.”

K ROBINSON IS A SOUL-LESS PIG
To all the trolls and id--ts that drink the kool-aid, Ford is a disgraceful company that rewards disgusting behavior ( contracting Bos Consult to identify what employees to terminate based on age/ pension/ compensation vs performace ) - remember this when they come for you, especially the id--ts that call themselves ' secret we-pon '.
I is also why FOMOCO will never ' transform ' or approach Tesla, GM, Toyota, Apple, Google.
For all the talk on ethics, shame on YOU, Bill Ford.

k robinson is a pig - she engineered the boston consulting contract that got all the old timers laid off so the company can save a few dollars, she's the biggest id--t, they all got jobs at apple, google, microsoft and suppliers that now know all the bs and stupidity at fomoco, hahhahahhahah then they had the audacity to ask them to sign nda's.... little late..... farley's days are numbered, the stock is getting shorted, here's to transformation!

Toyota dumped Farley because they knew he was a blowhard non performer. Somehow Ford always picks up the trash from other companies and attempts to put a shine on it, presenting it as something new and capable. Who knows what other misanthrope will replace JF?

Farley and his so-called ' leadership ' team were ridiculed by the banking/ investment community at the recent market days pitch. Lawler is visibly jittery, he knows Farley can not lead Ford through any " transformation " and continues to fail on the foundations of manufacturing. Talent has either eliminated ( SIRPed ) through the actions of a soul-less pig ( K Robinson ) who gets rewarded and becomes an overcompensated pres of family vehicles of which IMO she is unqualified. Hackett and his fakes using buzz words like design-thinking continue to " think " of meaningless BS, producing nothing more than empires of decks. Laughable how id--ts as F Louis-Victor are employed and accomplish nothing that improves our bottom line. Truby is useless at communicating any truths, everyone is aware EV dev is failing under Field ( another fake that needs to be terminated ). The stock is being inflated, being shorted for short term gains only to drop. Our competitors are delivering while our management continues to demonstrate ineffective leadership through nepotism and lack of commitment. EU EV Explorer is already forgotten or criticized as a poor copy of a Volvo meets Nissan, A Lo has no support from incompetent studio design directors desperate to save their empires - lots of blame gaming and rhetoric. Lincoln continues to fall into irrelevance, their team of unsophisticated chiefs and directors ( E Lucas, K Curic ) have no business shaping a luxury brand. Can Bill Ford save his namesake's legacy??????? Clean house, eliminate all the talkers, starting with Farley, search to find those that get the work done and bring to market the products that we know people want to buy. Right the wrongs of Hackett and then we will all see positive transformation.

"Plus don't forget that Bill Ford himself praises our current leadership as the best the company has had in its 100+ years"......

A sure sign dementia is setting in

Jim is not going anywhere. If it happens, it will be someone already on the board. There are two very qualified board members that can run the company.

Remember, that's how jim hackett got to be the CEO and got us all to think differently about "winning".

When Fartley is "retired", Billy will name himself CEO. The decline will precipitously accelerate.

I think Ford should get out of the retail business altogether and just concentrate on commercial. Never been able to make any money off of cars and they're getting to the point where they're not affordable. Just sell trucks to businesses in the US and call it a day.

BF has been shopping for a new CEO. He is drooling over John May (Deere & Co) who happens to be on Ford BOD.

One wonders who would want the job? If they managed to pull another Mulally, they would know that BF and the rotten Ford leadership would become insanely jealous; usher them out the door and then undo all of their hard work.

I agree with the JF shill in the comments. If the board an BF don’t see a problem with leadership then there isn’t one. Only time will tell for this era of ford and the future that lies before it. Is it a come from behind win or another Firestone tire/pinto situation in the making? Cats have 9 lives yes but some some don’t.

No. There will be no changes to our leadership. Why should there be? We are advancing the company into the future. We are laying the groundwork to be the leader in modern mobility. Plus don't forget that Bill Ford himself praises our current leadership as the best the company has had in its 100+ years.

i was so surprised by @dif+1n0jaOvY post that i looked it up

whoa, maybe they already got there?

did they out-Taurus us? they may have out model-T'd us...

https://www.motor1.com/news/669135/tesla-model-y-worlds-best-selling-car-q1-2023/

you cant believe everything you read on the internet, but... this is impressive, if true:

"According to data from 152 markets, Tesla sold 747,500 units of the Model Y, a 91 percent increase from 2021."

so much for Tesla not understanding mass production, LOL

If Tesla model Y becomes top selling vehicle in the world (it was #4 in 2022) then I fear we are stuck with Farley. It would have to pass Corolla, RAV4, and F150 in sales.

The model Y can be had for $45k with charger, model 3 will set you back at least $35k with charger.

Let's hope. Cause this path is ridiculous and not consumer-focused. No one can afford EVs, their environmental savings are a lie (merely shuffling around where the supposed pollution is generated), and gas-powered cars are measurably more capable for almost anything.

The only reason to make people drive electric, computer controlled cars is to control the people.
