Does anyone have insight into 2024 raises by RG and CL bumps?

It won't come out until January and will be disappointingly low. We are now overstaffed with Pioneer employees so need to drive more attrition. Quit asking.
Half way through October and still nothing?

More interested in getting this inside scoop than commentary on public news articles.
Any news on 2024 Salary Guidance?
looks like everyone is obsessed with the arrest..
Bump.
Beqom promotion planning started this week.
To those who think raises are based on inflation:
Raises are based on what the company thinks they can pay you and keep you from walking out the door. It is only related to inflation if due to inflation other companies start paying more. The company tries to pay you a penny more than the amount that will cause you to quit and leave. That is unless they want you to leave and then they won’t give you a raise.
HR no longer shares the curves and such info with supervisors. They haven’t for about three years.
Salary guidance won’t be set until October; anything that you hear here is speculation at best
Salary guidance for Jan 2024.
OD - 15-20%
O - 10-15%
E - 5-10%
VG - 3-5%
G - 1-3%
NI/NSI - Not eligible
Any update on this?
Remember the salary surveys of NON OIL COMPANIES will reflect a recession so I expect mid RG people to get below inflation unless they are a critical skill (especially in Accounting, IT, Procurement, GREF and other non-technical functions). In which case they may get some RSU instead of a big raise. If your job can be in in BA or India or Mal, you will be downsized over time...and may be competing with a super performer in BA, India or MAL that makes half what you earn...Bye-Bye you are on track to be Pip in a couple years.
With older Anglo White or NE Europe White makes and females leaving, there will be replacement by Africans and Latin Americans and S asians, which increase diversity while lowering cost. Anglo White males and even Anglo white females are screwed with more hiring outside US. XOM does not need Work from Home. IT is Work from INDIA or Work from Argentina or Work from BA or Work from KL

What does a new hire get these days?
@3qeq New hires on boarding for lower salaries? They are coming in almost $20k more than I started for undergrads compared to what I started at 7-8 years ago.
Every dollar or CL bump you get brings you up the PIP list.
Like taking food from the capitol before the reaping.
Seriously someone is asking this? Are you not paying attention to all of the positions being moved to India? Not aware that new hires are on boarding for lower salaries? Why would you expect to be employed much less get an increase? How is it possible to not see and hear this or simply be aware! The correct question is how much more time do we have.
Too early to tell. We find out in the fall/winter. Salaries are for sure not based on inflation. It’s based on company performance, your performance, and the unemployment rate (eg supply/demand of workers in the labor market)
With the lower inflation numbers, I think the best case will be a couple % lower than last year's. The only exception would be the unusually high attrition rate where they try to retain some of the talents.
Too early, MC won't approve things until early fall.
Anything less than 20% for G are unacceptable.
Raises will be 8-10% for G, higher with RSU for VG, E, and O, but only 4% for NI and 0% for NSI.
I'm expecting to be ranked E or O this year so I predict raises will be 1-2%, citing "possible economic downturn".
If they buy they will use that as well. The good ole days of post Covid are over. Haha sorry being sarcastic
