Having Intel as the only employer in the resume ends up in recruiter dustbin. Manager says no promotions or hike till next year. Couldn't afford an MBA because of already running student loan. Only option is internal switch to a different domain which I have no idea about

Looking at the value of AMD and NVDA holdings always makes my ni-ples hard, and then I look at the INTC holdings and it's like taking a cold shower.
Someone from MI300 is here .. world is small .. MI250 and MI100 have sucked nobody wants to buy it. The hpc cannot handle deep learning workloads . The government won't be funding MI300. Amd set to doom . We hired too many IBM folks. I worked at intel recently joined cpu server team. Ex ibmers run the show - they invite amd life longer to call and ask him to debug . Haha but IBMers are called PMTS. It's genuinely sad. I feel sorry
AMD extended loss after Mi300 announcement. People started selling before the seminar because they know it’s bad.
amd is hiring cr-p guys from Intel with a promotion.
not saying you are cr-p but you can try joining amd
Great advice!
It's really not. Intel is so large that you can't dismiss someone's experience on name alone. There are good employees in bad companies, there are even good teams in bad companies
Just like how there are terrible teams in good companies too.
Don't be afraid to apply to places because of this fear. The worst that can happen is you don't get the interview and then you're not any further behind than you were if you hadn't done it.
Don't let Intel hold you back!
Hang in there. Give it some time.
Yep, it's like having a degree from Berkley.
Oh ... OK ...
