Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Good News, Under her watch UK and other Europen regions turned into a** licking culture. Hardly any promotions based on merits, only based on who licks most.

A layoff affecting the Director and VP levels would save Cisco a ton more money than chopping the individual contributors that are actually doing the work.

+1 with @1zva+1n6hkveK and @nkj+1n6hkveK . Terrible culture, inaction in face of blatant corporate mafia culture and a lavish addiction to promoting Pavelka's fitness
services. Inertia in generating business, addressing customers honestly and not via prepared speeches and promoting cronies have been the EMEA culture since 2019. It has emboldened some SEDs to act as mafia Dons, running the place of business as their parental kitchen-sink business rather than how a business like Cisco should be run.

Hope things improve from here. If not, then it's Cisco's funeral in EMEA. PAN, Fortinet and Juniper are eating our lunch and laughing to banks because of these clowns and how they run things. Also get rid of the hordes of Managers, Sr. Managers, SED in UK and useless BSAs if you really wish to improve business with a breath of fresh air. Hire some real techies like Cisco sued to during their glory days. Cut the fat, detox and bring in some oxygen before you can grow. Too many experienced, loyal, dedicated people have left Cisco out of frustration during the last 3 to 4 years in EMEA.

Horrible culture coming down from EMEA leadership, hope this will change now.

It was her choice to leave. We all should get off of this sinking ship.

I know Org-wise she was EMEA but before that she was UK&I . She allowed the breeding of some toxic people under her. The recent U.K. business and sales management, VP, SED etc post 2019 grew with her blessings and destroyed business and work culture in UK&I. Good riddance

Probably spoke her mind to Chuck too often and was told to take her services elsewhere.
