Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What percent of current employees will be

Layed off and not layed off but completely demoralized and malcontents? It seems like 80-90 percent of people fall into that categories. Seems like an Al Chainsaw Dunlap move to sell the company and what's left of it.

No motivation to work. Morale is low. Wonder how low can we go. That is new T culture.

Everyone who’s staying until severance will not care, whether that’s in 2 weeks or a year. I will not relocate and do just enough until then.

I'm guessing that the number crunchers have predicted a 20-25% attrition. This is speculation, but given the drips and drops of info, that seems like the sweet spot.

You know Stink outsourced this to some statisticians who modeled reaction and acceptance rate. Stink already has a percentage of job elimination in mind, and if this hub bullspit doesn't hit that mark there will be more layoffs. If it meets or exceeds the number of people leaving, Stink will think this is money well spent.

So far with RTO comments from people it is about 15% surplus with the RTO
So I would assume add 10% more, so total of 25% will be surplus this year

The 10 or 20% that don't fall into the categories are either "actors" or Senior Leaders.
