I wouldn’t usually consider CNN as a reliable source, but this is a neutral topic, more or less, so I gave it a chance. There are two major issues with it...

  1. They only focused on WFH since 2020. It's only a part of the problem, and a majority of the most severely affected managers are those who worked remotely from before the pandemic. I have a feeling everyone will continue to ignore us and lump us in with the covid related WFH workers, which would never expose the real scope of the impact of these RTO policies.
  1. At the end, they present a case of negotiating with your employers, completely ignoring the fact that no employer is interested in any kind of reasoning or negotiation. It makes the whole situation appear reasonable and manageable, when in reality it's anything but...
