Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Who Knew?

Who Knew that all it would take for the stock price to rebound was a whiff that Hansy may be ousted?

Also - Any idea why TMO has been tanking? Are people asking up to the fact that it is like all of the other Telecomms?

Lol - we were at $61 at one point. For goodness sakes we are in the $30s. And to add fuel to fire as interest rates go up so do the payments on the debt level we carry. This is not a good recipe!!

It’s up 1.25%. Let’s not get excited.

I think that some of the pension funds and insurance companies have likely met with the Board and told them that it is time to bring in some 'American Adult Supervision' now that Matt has had enough and departed. The Swede that we never needed has done more damage to the brand, product, and customer base than any competitor could have ever imagined. Every single decision this guy has made has been wrong from picking the unqualified head of customer service to damage business in his early innings, to placing an equally unqualified management consultant in charge of consumer now. Is it any wonder that the street has lost all faith in this loser from Ericsson?

The current CEO will be on the job and in-charge for a long while yet = possibly 12 to 24 months (sooner the better). Unfortunately, there is no interim CEO available.

Did the current CEO receive the message that he has unfinished business = I dont think so....

The current CEO is the wrong man for the job, past, present, and future.

OP: how are you quantifying the share price rebound? Stopped sinking is the metric?? Long way for the share price to turnaround and reach back higher.
