Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

The HCL post disappeared

Interesting that a post regarding the HCL purchase of Verizon MNS has been deleted. I’m not sure if that adds validity or discredit the original post. Thoughts?

Was the post deleted by the sysadmins on this site because it named a Verizon executive as a source?

The post deleted was much more informative and enriched.

Not much merit: https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1nx0Hfui

Anyone know of any executives who are long term employees in the MNSO organization leaving the company recently. That is typically a sign. Heard someone in the chain with 32yrs just announced this week. No names but it was a femaie.

Pig latin version of a name is still a name. Just don’t use a name.

The person knew what they were talking about in a general sense. Post appeared on both boards likely for the following reason.

AT&T has already publicly (not news headlines, but publicly) announced they will be shedding all managed 3rd party products from Cisco (UCaaS) and other vendors except for RingCentral’s Office@Hand.

Likely a Verizon employee (I will detail in a moment) saw the public AT&T post and heard Verizon was doing the same thing. Posted on both boards.

“Verizon Managed Services” leads me to believe this person was not specifically in the group affected, but knows enough to know secondary and tertiary level executives.

There is VBG which is the group that “managed services” (MNSO) is under, but many teams fall under MNSO:

VCE and UCC are the teams supporting the comparable products to what AT&T is spinning off. So are we losing these teams?

The composed narrative had merit.

Strategically, advanced mourning, yes, mourning -- Posthumous recognition.

That either means too close to the truth and therefore insider trading or that is was total BS and creating rabbit holes where people are looking for clear ways forward.
