Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Health has no price

Too much stress definitely has huge health consequences. I don't understand why most of us prioritize job over health? I will definitely not do that anymore.

People have died on the job every year I've been here (25+). Bank never believes it has anything to do with them. ("well, he was heavy", "We offer all those health resources...", etc.)

They send flowers, expense it and never look back.

No responsibility or accountability for their part. Horrible.

Years ago I did see my manager and other employees at a coworkers funeral. They knew what I look like, they made eye contact, yet never acknowledged my presence. Nothing.

There were 2 died in recent 3 years. They might have worked too much driven by sweet factory in pricing team. Not sure if managers or executives showed up at their funeral. Don’t go to pricing execution the sweet factory.

Family and health should be prioritized over a job. No manager or executive is going to come to your funeral.

Why are you stressing over your job? Go exercise lol. If you have skills then no need to stress, do your 40h and enjoy job security.
