Hiring and Layoff Quota Changes

Large companies are now being warned by Attorney Generals since the Supreme Court ruling that immoral DEI quotas are no longer acceptable. Good news for a fairer outcome based on merit.

Duhh! Yep I’m dat stupid to think immoral and discriminatory DEI business practices negatively affects a company. The last two years of AT&T proclaiming their discriminatory hiring stats is proof. It divides and not unite employees based on everything but merit.

Excluding the minority C-suite. The last two yrs a DEI e-mail was sent out to all with the hiring and total employee stats. It showed per US race demographics that the AT&T employee base is unbalanced it shows there is less % white employees than the US population and other races were over represented. Based on those numbers it’s discriminatory. It stated last year that over 70% of hires were people of color or part of the alphabet group, so they are hiring based on race, gender or alphabet of the unrepresented, according to their wording but their own statistics show that to be dubious. The opposite is true, Caucasian’s are the underrepresented.

Now if they had said they were using a merit based hiring practice, race, gender and alphabet wouldn’t matter because the most talented and qualified candidates are being hired. Just be fair is all one could hope for and DEI isn’t the vehicle to do that, it’s just another version of affirmative action.

Remember the past but it’s time for the country to move on from it and become more united once again. A divided house won’t stand, if one continues to claim victimization it will become self fulfilling in your life and make you miserable. Racial Discrimination is wrong for all races, I believe all can agree to that.

Wake Up! The American dream is still there for the taking, new immigrants and citizens are achieving it everyday. Take control of your own destiny and don’t let other talking heads and people with an agenda affect it. Most of them are doing it for their own benefit (money & power) while making it seem they are doing you a favor and on your side, aka.. News agencies, politicians, activists, etc.. they make tens of thousands and millions while giving you little to none, they need you and your votes so pandering is their way to stay in power, money and ratings.

2 cents for the day

Good news! just hire or layoff based on needs of the business. Evaluate each candidate through a color blind lens as a human being and stop the alphabet soup mess that has nothing to do with conducting a successful business. The filters need to be merit based on qualifications, competence, performance and business acumen, if that could have been applied to leadership…Hmmm, wonder how well AT&T would be doing currently?

The Supreme Court ruling does not apply to corporations. You salty as crackas and your Asian bootlicks would need another court case specifically to address that. This case applied to college admissions.

It’s sick that y’all scream about the racial aspect but don’t say a thing about gender. White women have been the biggest recipients of affirmative action. There are more white women in c-suite positions than black and Hispanic men or women.

It was also revealed Asians did gain from affirmative action. I’m the documents it should Asian women gained a boost in admissions.

I hope they continue to discriminate by age. The lord of you old a-s white folks who end up jobless the better!

I never understood how the answer to discrimination was to allow others to choose who gets discriminated against.

Hopefully this will help the AT&T to now hire the best candidates and not be based on identify. Best business practice for success.

Great now maybe the word salad e-mails, huddles and news for the day will be about business. I’m here for a paycheck to support my family, not be lectured to by a woke agenda.

Now if they would go after age discrimination by large companies it would be impactful for an aging boomer and gen X work force.
