Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

We Listen…..

Recoded video coming out this week from Stankey….. RTO office moves and relocations will be paused and reevaluated in 2024. Over the next few months we will reorganize and focus ourselves. Many of the things we do in house will be out sourced to our strategic business partners. More detail will be shared in the weeks ahead. We will use the next few months…… We all knew it was coming

Please be sure to post date and time so I can get someone to wake me up. I want to hear it. I’m sleeping about 4 hours a day in an obscure conference room but this might be worth waking up for.

The announcement is that it’s being sped up. There will be only one hub come January. Dallas. You’re either in or your out.

Anyone who has been here a while knows that this is nonsense, and here's why.

Stankey in a video , himself announcing a pause with all of the RTO nonsense, is tantamount to him admitting defeat, or at a minimum that his plan was unrealistic and couldn't be implemented.

Just like he did with Workplace 2020. Collaboration Zones. T Mobile. DirectTV. Time Warner.

Oh wait, he never did accept any accountability at all, for any of that did he?

There is no video. There is no reversal in policy coming from Stank.

The only thing that "might" happen is the old fizzle out after a few months, and headed into next year. Anyone that has been here a while would not be surprised if, at this time next year, all of this is a fuzzy memory; another of those "...remember when they tried to do x-x ??!!! LOL".

Problem is, given the current state of the company, it's not looking like this company will exist, (at least in the same structure) at this time next year.

You put your right foot in, you take your right foot out, you put your right foot in, and you shake it all about. You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That’s what it’s all about. I swear this song has been AT&T’s strategy for the past decade. Haha!

Someone must had already leaked this. All the USA groups which are dependent on each others have fallen into a I don’t give a po-p gear and it’s laughable the priorities given from our in love with themselves only leadership are ignored.

Say hello to your replacements. Shankar from TechMahindra and Sunil from Accenture, they Can't communicate but that's not matter,
They get paid 90% less. So we should be okay.

I'm hoping to get laid off some time in September cuz I'm pretty tired of all the nonsense with this company. If I don't get a layoff notice, I'm gone on my own in October!

RTO is the only current option for cost savings that has the potential to streamline T, maximize productivity and shed dead weight. It is starting to be effective.
