Most of my stock is from decades ago, never had much. I move the stock out of the 401K every few months.

Never put all your eggs on one basket. Your paycheck and your investments are AT&T. Big mistake.

Nothing. I dump them as soon as I get them.

$30K down on AT&T - a minor drag... over $3M is retirement, $4.5M net worth, and no debt.

I diversify my company match into the index funds. I don’t have any single stocks at all, including ours. My 401k has done very, very well over the decades.

Sold it when we bought directtv. I was 100% stock for a while and it wasn’t good

I am currently an active 33 year employee. In 2011, when ATT lost its’ exclusivity rights, I converted my ATT stock to other investments and stopped investing in ATT. Since then, my bi-weekly contributions and company match are allocated to Blackrock R1000 Growth, Small & Mid US Stock Index and Indexed Stock Fund. I never have to watch any ATT investments sink, I just go to work and see the ship sinking on a daily basis.

I stopped immediately selling my company match once it fell below 20 thinking it had to eventually go back up…oh, well.

I'm going to wait until the next quarter earnings report. I too wanted to transfer my AT&T shares in my 401K when T was at $ 19.50. I guess I waited a little too long. Fingers crossed the next earnings report doesn't expose any cooking of the books. Not real optimistic though to be honest.

I don't have AT&T stock. I really don't know much about the stock market. I just like to complain about the stock price for kicks.

I swap the company match in my 401k about every 2 to months. Haven’t been exposed to any significant losses.

I did not dump it at its high before the pandemic when I probably should have. Dumped low 6 figures worth a while back, and now it's less than 5% of total portfolio.

None. I learned from watching Enron and trade my shares as soon as possible. Anyone coming to this board reading how att is in the dumps and keeping their t shares is a mo--n.

I haven’t lost anything because I sell it every month or so. Why would anyone keep T stock when there’s plenty of investment options that can actually make money?

I get rid of it at regular intervals , so it’s not too much overall.

Hopefully you've learned a valuable lesson regarding portfolio diversification:
Allocate no more than 5% of your portfolio to one investment security.

Think you mean you’ve had a major change in current value. Can’t call it a lose until it’s sold.
