Hans - Failed Leader - Search for new CEO

Hans = strategic mistakes without any accountability but still makes millions sums up his tenure.

All the mobile players face an existential risk - a tech company that secures a wholesale agreement.
Imagine walking into an Apple store to order an iPhone and automatically be connected to the "Apple" network and billed a flat fee.

This becomes more palpable once the big three try to end their subsidization of new phones in an effort to free up cash.
This option exists for Amazon or Google as well.

Not to have a pressured recommendation, ESG/DEI candidates, by BlackRock, CEO, Larry F__k, because Hans is elected to the BlackRock board of directors.

BlackRock, holds a large number of VZ shares.

Good examples cited. CVS and Walgreens, both CEOs, females, and are both failures.

Hence, then this new CEO should then select his/her VZ CFO.

Forewarned, that this next CEO should not be an ESG nor a DEI selected, pre-qualified, candidate.

Example: CEOs at CVS and Walgreens, tough competitive business, versus Amazon's threats.

VZ likewise faces Amazon's threats, that is MVNO, a mobile virtual network operator is a carrier that does not have its own wireless network.

Be warned- they will look for a person who has no issues wielding the ax and using the chainsaw. Don't expect it to preserve jobs.

Incompetence, of the current VZ CEO.

But also the incompetence and to be blamed is the former VZ CEO who promoted the current VZ CEO being initially hired as VZ's CTO.

Knowing that this Swedish meatball, descendant, had a failed stint as the CEO at a previous company. What a set of embarrassments.

Who is the interviewing committee for the new VZ CEO and VZ CFO?

For both the positions, is it the lame slate of the VZ Board-of-Directors?

Certainly, not the current VZ CEO - would not know competence if it slapped him in his face.

Given the Verizon current Board of Directors, I can’t see them figuring out or finding a qualified leader. It may be too late to turn the ship around.
Hans was booted from Ericsson for his inability to realize the potential of that company and yet VZ hired him anyway and he has continued his lackluster performance.

Compare the VZ Board of Directors (ESG’ers) with the T Mobile Board of Directors (Engineers) and that is one big reason why TMUS has become the leader.

Either way Hans will be laughing all the way to the bank. He will blame it on everything but his leadership and the find another cash cow job.

I believe there will be many qualified parties interested in becoming CEO. Of course, half of the qualified will be tossed aside as VZ will attempt to make a social statement with a new hire. There may be an opportunity to fulfill both.

VZ has been so poorly managed during the last six to seven years that any positive results, no matter how minimal will be viewed as a success.

Agreed, this current CEO is a worthless piece of toilet paper.

The mess created cannot be undone with a magic wand!!!

Therefore, who in their right mind would want this nightmare of a mess to correct itself and return to profitability?

Only an Asian-Indian would want this job.
