I called this a month ago when they said our team was being moved under a totally different organization. Just had a last minute meeting with the boss where he said he is moving to a completely different team/area.
They've done the same thing in 3 different teams that I've either experienced or have known other people to go thru...here comes the chop.

Last 2 managers were displaced. The “new team new manager tell me what you do” dog & pony show required is frustrating.
This happened to me but I am still here in the new role. Don't like it and waiting for another reorg or severance.
