OSHA and Fire Code Violations

I keep hearing posts where people are saying no reservations exist, people are working in hallways, and offices are overcrowded. If this is the case, it is up to you to do something about it:

  1. If the office is over capacity, contact the fire marshal. Fire Marshal’s will shut the buildings down and issue a citation to the CRE for overcrowding.
  2. Anyone unable to work at a desk needs to file an OSHA complaint- first with HR, and if no action is taken, with OSHA themselves. OSHA will send out inspectors as well and fines will be issued for repeated violations due to unsafe working conditions.

If I don’t start hearing about these conditions in the news, I’m going to call BS on these office complaints. Safety comes first.

We’re shoulder to shoulder in Alpharetta today with people working at high tops. No cubes available on the reservation system, if they are available usually the chair or equipment is broken.

I see green in the reservation system, all 3 buildings.

OP, it is not true, or simply very isolated and has since been corrected or is in the process of being corrected. Alpharetta a new area was opened up, Lenox, released a building previously vacated by T. The problem is people just want to whine and not take the simple steps to resolve the issue. Simplistic, hey boss, in the office, no room, I am going home. Can you look into it and let me know when the issue is resolved. In the meantime I will WFH.

Notice not one detail is provided with these complaints? So much could be provided without remotely giving away your identity (which btw is captured on this site by way of you session info)

You should get an assigned seat if you come in five days a week. Every week.

Since no of the seats are private are all of the work stations sanitized at the end of the day?

What is the fee price to sit in the c-suite. I figure the food is better.

The next thing you know is that CRE will start charging a fee for premium seating! You can pay a monthly fee for a guaranteed seat instead of logging in every day. This would be another revenue stream.

It's BS. You can check status of vacancies in the YWR (Your Workplace Reservation) system.
