Stankey will make AT&T great again.
stank could care less about his customers.
if he did he wouldn't run the company the way he does.
Can't think of a major figure in the busiess world with less credibility than this guy. Some are as hated, but none have less credibility.
Now every news outlet will be at lake Tahoe when AT&T begins lead cable removal. The cable will shred on air because its rotted. Bad optics.
It would be hard to identify another company that has made more severe blunders than AT&T under John Stankey
So first off, delivering for shareholders and also customers is an oxymoron. Shareholders want as much return in their investment as soon as possible, customers want cheap, good service. The two are at odds.
To deliver for the customer means selling your product at market rate or cheaper, and making sure everything is always top notch. That requires capital investment to fix problems as fast as possible while innovating new and better products.
To deliver for shareholders, charge the customers as much as you can get away with, cut costs as much as possible while barely keeping the company afloat, pay the biggest dividend we can.
Seems to me all we’ve ever been doing is delivering for the shareholder and sc--w the customer. No wonder we are falling way behind.
He is hired a CTO Jeremy with only a Bachelor in Arts.
We lease antennas, fiber, buildings, HR, desks, laptops, cloud, .... all of it.
Guess what we cannot lease no more.
We lease even our sales people, and our techs too installing 5g antennas, fiber to Blackrock, and now go to India ATT....
Lol, he hates the customers more than the employees. He just wishes he could find a way to micromanage them and force them to move across the country, too.
Except he says one thing and delivers another. ATT is the Kmart of telecommunication.
Apparently AT&T DOES NOT WANT TO COMPLY with the 2021 agreement to remove lead-clad telecommunications cables from Lake Tahoe, as it have submitted a court filing.
Shooting themselves in the foot.
which straddles California and Nevada, to resolve a lawsuit despite AT'S&T belief that they pose no danger.
Smart guy, one day he will be the big CEO boy.
