I am told surplus notices given tomorrow. My manager will be calling each if us and letting us know if we are affected. After that expect major reorg announcement the end of the first week of August, just a couple days after people will be off payroll. Org wide I am being told the cuts are 25%. Anyone else in Business Marketing getting similar information? This week has been so dead. Especially today. So hard to work with the sword hanging overhead.

Agree with other reply above.....so many reorgs with At&T and they never improve anything - focus, cust sat or financial results,,,AT&T reorgs = illusion of progress....sad.....
T’s philosophy is that change ( reorganization etc.) represents progress….oh how wrong they always are. This is a smoke screen to the BOD and the market. It never improves anything, or delivers the intended outcome. Leadership simply does not know how to get us out of the nose dive.
I am hearing major changes coming and to be announced first week of August. Also that any group not entirely focused on market be moved out of the org or eliminated.
