Morale is as low as I've ever seen it.
Not hitting numbers. No feeling of a legit strategy to get out of this. Layoffs keep coming. Paycuts. No sign of anything ever coming of the reward side and they have a bunch of outs such that the basic restore may not ever happen.
Managers having absolutely ZERO people management skills and doing nothing but building empires by bringing in a bunch of low cost, underscoped heads while pushing experienced people down and out through the classic Intel fashion of making your job/position he-l and waiting for you to quit, and if you don't, then they will CPM you.
Just a really horrible time right now.
When will this misery end ?
So much whining and entitlement... pu-e.
Working at Intel has taught me 2 things, get the cheapest, and easiest master degree you can get, you’ll get paid 3X more than what people who have to actually work hard will get paid. Also, never work for a place where you can’t ask for a raise.
Thank you Intel leadership for this amazing legacy of the peasantry
OP, it is going to get worse. TSMC just announced that their profits dropped for the first time in 4 years due to slowing demand. What do you think this will mean for Intel's quarterly earnings? If you don't think things will get worse just wait... Intel's ability to disappoint is about the only thing consistently happening at the company.
Every.Day.
"I'm just waiting on INTC hitting $100"
the sun will burn out first
Past that.
Now, in just don't care mode. Just doin my job until the paycheck stop.
I'm just waiting on INTC hitting $100 then I'm outta here! Should be about 2 years. 😁
Well yeah.
