Performance Rating Reevaluation

Has anyone asked their rating to be reevaluated by HR? My new, not to ethical and spiteful boss majorly screwed me over.

My boss told me they were deliberately told to hand out fewer good ratings, which feels mostly like an excuse to try to keep costs down and give less fuel to people who should be promoted.

I successfully got a re-evaluation after my manager got fired. But compensation didn't change. Sounds like you'll be on your way out either way though, so depends on if you want to go that route. But I'd document everything, record zoom meetings thru zoom, do it all so you have some proof.

The power the bosses have a Nike is unreal. I ended up quitting my job after my boss publically disciplined in front of my team as well as called me a name and then wrote me up for a final warning.

HR didn't care about how my manager behaved only that I follow the final warning. So I quit and have been enjoying my summer break.

You have two options 1) Let it go 2) Go find another job. Believe the other comments that no one at Nike wants to hear your appeal. It is a straight dictatorship full of sociopaths at the helm. You WILL absolutely be targeted even if you win your appeal. No matter how egregious or unethical your manager acted.

I have before, juice isn’t worth the squeeze. Even if you get a rerating, your merit won’t change due to how the compensation is setup here at Nike.

You may win the battle but lose the war since they’ll just target you in next reorg. I know 2 people who fell into that bucket. Either you can take my word for it or find out yourself, I’m telling you not worth the time and effort.
