Customer: Hello, may I take your order.

IHX: No I am Hakeem from AT&T and I'd like to talk to you about your cell phone and internet service, may I ask who is your service provider?

Customer: I don't know, I just work here.

IHX: Well may I speak to the owner then. I can save you money.

Customer: Uh, I don't know who that is.

IHX: Well let me speak to the manager.

Customer: I am the manager on duty.

IHX: Great! let me tell you how you can save money on your cellular and internet.

Customer: I am the manager on duty, I'm not allowed to make changes to our corporate accounts.

IHX: Yes, but what if said you could save 10% by switching to AT&T, what would you say then.

Customer: The same thing I told you 2 minutes ago. I am the manager on duty, I don't know who owns this place. I just work here and I can not make any changes to anything. Please leave.

IHX: Well what if I told you we can replace your slow cable internet with AT&T.....

Customer !!@$#%@$!! Get the Fu-k out of here.

Go to YouTube and search for AT&T IHX. It will make you throw up in your mouth a little. Such a slimey business model. A bunch of individuals that could not make it as used car salesman trying to work over low paid front line employees that no influence on what the owners use for their their connectivity. What the YouTube video doesn't show is how these clowns get asked to leave, sometimes expeditiously.
Door to door salesmen, let them in and FRAUD follows.
IHX is where 1st lines go when they are surplussed. They last a few months until their conscious allows them to check out.

Although so many people say IHX is where the growth is, it’s also where the fraud is and where the cost is. An ISM makes about $100k-120k, the SSL makes about $50k-60k and each rep makes a base of $40k-50k plus commission which is based on $20k. That’s minimum $750k before they even have 200 gross adds a month with 10 reps. They spend minimum $1K/month per rep on car expenses. That’s another $120k/year. Think about T spending $870k for 2400 gross adds. That’s $362.50 each when T pays 3rd party vendors about half that for a new line add. But wait, there’s more…. These ISM, SSL and the inventory take up space in an office that is now designated RTO.

Imagine laying off the single most profitable consumer branch lmao.

It's true, this is a terrible decision. (Unless it's Out of Footprint Teams.)
