Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

PAN is a joke

It’s 2023 and they expect sales people in the office? LOL! Say what you want about Cisco, but even they aren’t this stupid!

“ We expect office-based employees to be in the office four days per week, with one day working from where they choose. We believe being together facilitates casual conversations and those magic moments where we can work on issues and ideas informally. These moments build capability and deepen trusted relationships and allow our people to feel safe in taking risks and being disruptive. Like so many companies, we are working through the details and things could change …. but in general if a role is deemed office-based we want our teams to be together four days per week.”

PAN doesn’t have sales offices in quite a few metros so I’m calling BS on OP.

If PAN is a joke, what does that make GSSO? If going in meant our stock price would have similar performance as theirs I would have no problem with that.

Downvotes prove most people here are not from Cisco. They’re losers that got fired and had to go work at places like PAN and still come here because they’re butt hurt.

Chuck can't make Cisco employees come to office because he and the ELT will not leave their mansions to come to the office

PAN sells better firewalls and a lot more of them. It's not surprising they have a different approach than Cisco.
