For everyone that complained about SVB at least he stuck up for us against the stupid RTO requirements. His AMAs were informative and he actually knew the material. Now we have people who just gaslight the teams. I guess because they are too busy raising their profile in magazines for being one of the top 50 fill in the blank.

SVB and TK two of the most dimwitted leaders in Technology. TK getting any Top x awards is because of the push from DEI. She never made the lists anywhere in her previous roles. She is a figure head. She will ask SVB what to do and will do Charlie’s bidding. This is the best gig she will ever get and will protect it with her life, she likes the importance and dollars. She will mow anyone down who will threaten it.

SVB would never come back to the sh*t show in Tech. He clearly bailed when he had the grooming opportunity to go to the business side.
Is anything really that difference since he came joined the company? Workday and Svc Now. All the tech debt is still around. It still takes a lot of time to do anything.

SVB was going to have Service Now do everything. Only thing it did was to make everything more complicated.

I'm in tech, and have been working from home for years due to implementing changes outside the COW on an almost daily basis. When it was announced that SVB was going to join the bank, our management gave us a heads up that WFH would go away eventually since he is not in favor of it. I don't know where you're hearing about him sticking up for WFH. He was the one that implemented the location strategy and RTO push that was originally delayed because of COVID.
