Since this is a layoff website and the term “doomsday” was referenced, I believe the OP is referring to the fact that 8/17/2023 will be a lot of layoffs…..

National business fiber team. Makes sense as the National business mobility team is going through a surplus next month as well. I’m sure these are related and at the same time.
I think this post triggered C&E. I believe the OP was referring to the massive business fiber sales teams. The teams that time and time again have failed to hit targets. Their forecast has been dropped 60% this year alone.

Good luck with that. 1st, who's going to buy it? Second, 90% of all the fiber, is in the same officer/easement/Right of way as the copper they want to sell. Either way, I could care less. This ship has sailed.
Finally selling wireline to rebuild a “AT&T One” network over the next 5 years. Unbelievable what this executive team is doing. All to break ties with the Union and build a cheap and efficient network nationwide with BlackRock.
