COVID making comeback with RTO?

We passed it between each other with earlier RTO. With overcrowding now the norm I suspect we’ll do the same again?

Coworker returned today and quietly shared he’s was out due to testing Covid and asked I not tell our local coworkers since our boss asked him to not share under HIPPA laws.

A co-worker in Atlanta said someone tested positive there this morning.

Thank you San Ramon. Our leadership kept us in the dark as we passed it around.

Bogus scare tactics via the co-opt’d CDC. Take a look at some of their funding & follow the money.

You gotta figure they are forcing everyone back into an office, including all of those they never mandated to get vaccinated...so it's just a matter of time. I've already been on a floor hearing multiple folks coughing and sneezing. Back to folks coming in to the office sick.

The CDC says to get ready for the tripledemic this winter. Covid, flu and RSV virus. And of course they said they’ll be pushing for the triple vaccines.
Get my religious exemption paperwork ready. Again.

COVID probably not but who knows in the winter if it becomes something of a seasonal thing. Colds, flu and the like, definitely. They spread all over these open offices before so why wouldn’t they again? Not having to deal with that was a big unsung benefit of working from home and one of those things that sneakily saves a company money from less sick time used and the like.

There could be another non-covid pandemic. Overcrowded open work spaces, what could go wrong?

Far before Covid there were several if not many articles about the issues with tearing down office or cubby walls in favor of open office spaces. One of the issues was spreading illness. Couple open offices with overcrowding, I'm sure all the documented issues would be much more exacerbated.

Well, it's officially "not a thing" anymore, so why even bring it up?

Honestly, covid at this point is so mild you’d think it was just allergies.
