XOM loves double speak and word games, so can you help translate for me what "Very Good" (VG) and "Good" (G) ranks mean for the long term? My read is that G is not good, but rather not bad (NSI/NI) and VG is essentially the same thing but with sprinkles on top. On the flip side, what exactly is O/OWD in practice?
What do G/VG mean for raises? Is it just enough year to year to keep a cheap employee until he/she quits due to stagnation or can it be reasonable (promotions and raises beating inflation)?
Thx yall
