Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

God our clients are the WORST

I'm so f--king tired of getting yelled at by old people!!! I'm THIS close to snapping, I cant stand clients who call in about the most insignificant things! Like oh I'm sorry your statement was printed on a new type of paper let me just k-ll myself! Will that make you happy now!? I want to tell them off. So. Bad.

Imagine having to deal with them in person. People will take the time to get dressed, drive/walk to our branch, just to spend 30 minutes to an hour causing a scene in the lobby over stupid sh-t like this. It happens ALL the time and it’s so much worse since the pandemic.

My BM has zero tolerance for rude, aggressive, disrespectful clients. The minute they hear someone start yelling at the CRSs they REGULATE that sh-t. If the client won’t calm TF down after we’ve all tried to help they’re asked to leave the branch. If they refuse to leave (which happens 50% of the time) they’re trespassing.

It boggles my mind that clients think they can literally scream and shout in federally regulated financial institution without consequences.

It is hard to feel good about making rich, old f@#ks richer. I hope to find a role somewhere with a mission I can believe in.

No you don't reward the OLD peoples behavior but you are on the phone as a representative - do the best you can and then click and claim a disconnect - which in real life is true!@

@pta+1nO2Zpbe I thought you were talking about Schwab. It was a real twist when you came in at the end with old people.

DON"T stress over the OLD people calling - they have nothing better to do but gripe about the d-mbest things. They don't understand tech or embrace new ideas. They think the world should revolve around them. Please don't take it personally - turn a deaf ear and do what you can. Whatever you do don't take that stress home - they are just OLD people!!!!!!!

Can you give them Rick's email?
He apparently spends his time reading love letters instead of researching how Bonds are affected by the FED raising interest rate %'s.

It’s odd how the older clients complain all the time. I see they way they treat people in person like at restaurants and retail stores and just the entitlement and lack of human respect blows me away. I’m at least glad the younger generations don’t do this
