@2evj+1nRq7eJZ. I am in the same boat - hanging on to get my retirement benefits. But I am not enjoying the show at all. There is not much to take pride in. I did not work in the industry all these years to develop unaffordable, low quality vehicles. Watching a company with a history like Ford dig itself into a ditch and being surrounded by people who don't even understand the problem is not enjoyable.

The main reason for many Ford employees is that they have not found a job in another company yet.

@qxo+1nRq7eJZ I disagree. The fact that they cannot work dysfunction proves that they are an LL3. They higher up the d-mber all the way to the top dunce.

How Ford is still keeping Farley on payroll despite exhibiting failure after failure is amazing.

It's almost like the board wants Ford to die or something lol

Don't bother listing the reasons to stay in the company as the company itself may not be in business for too long. Everyone will have to leave sooner or later. The sooner the better.

I'm very doubtful this person is an ll3 since they can't even spell dysfunction: Joined two years ago. LL3. Great pay. Have worked at several other companies and all companies have a degree of disfunction. It is just amplified on forums like this because it attracts those that are most sour. Have had offers to leave and go work elsewhere. Grass always looks greener but it isn’t.

  1. It’s a paycheck
  2. WFH
  3. Many different areas I can work in while staying at the same company
  4. No desire to job search as ageism is a factor inside and out of Ford
  5. Fear of change
  6. Nearing retirement

Being paid over $100 k to wfh, webex into no value added meetings, take 50 hours of useless quality courses, makeup quarterly pr and objectives that have buzz word of the day.

Let's be honest; there is no real reasons to stay. We are all here because it was the best job we could get at the time. I am certainly not proud to work here and many aren't either; we made the most of our situation and took it out of desperation.

No one who is really good at their job would stay here long term. Mediocre pay, no culture and just people being disconnected and disengaged.

You are all wrong; there are less than zero reasons to stay at Ford.

I know; was SIRP’ed last year. Found two jobs, both remote WFH jobs. True, right now due to the current recessionary pressures, it is hard to find any job, WFH or not. However, WFH is not going anywhere. You just have to be patient and wait out situations.

Still working remotely. Once RTO, I will consider retiring.
