I did my best to dissuade someone from joining XOM over the weekend. He's a great guy and ten years ago I'd have been overjoyed to have him join the company. Today, I made sure to tell him everything that's wrong with XOM and why leaving his current job for this place would be a huge mistake. I don't know if he's going to accept, but I hope he heard what I was saying.

Xom was good as a contractor. The pay will let you ignore the incompetence, corruption, annd carelessness. So you keep your sanity.
Only go as contractor. Straight higher pay. Take agency benefits. No PDS BS.
