I sent an ex coworker an email to see if he got caught up in the last round of layoffs. I receive d a returned mail email. No information. Is this Fords standard format for those let go?

Setup a rule that all of your email gets fwd to Bill Ford.
I just saw the first reply - joking about having time to set an Out Of Office message.
Then it occurred to me - how fun would it have been to set an OOO after being SIRP'd lol
Can you imagine the stuff people would say in those messages??
I'm certain that is part of the reason why email defaults to 'undeliverable' lol
Yes, there's no notice and no email forwarding, from what I've witnessed. Was in a meeting two weeks ago where we realized at least 3 people were let go when their email came back as undeliverable. Asked around and got confirmation.
You can use a service like verifilia to check if emails are active.
If you’re emailing from outside Ford, then you’d just get a return to the effect that the address doesn’t exist (or something similar).
It is often the only sign that someone has been let go (assuming you don't see this person or speak to them frequently).
You can simply enter their email address into the 'To:' field and tab to the next field - and their email address should show a red X and have some corresponding statement about how you can't email them.
What. You think they had time to place an OOO message?
