There’s many customer complaints on AT&T community forums and Better Business Bureau’s website about IHX promising $250 gift cards for each old customer phone returned to AT&T. The customers never get the $250 and are told the returned phone was either not received or was in poor condition if it was received. Sounds like a scam to be investigated. IHX to be surplussed probably.

Haha

IHX has always been the fraud leader. There is a reason it’s a revolving door if sellers and managers

I was in IHX for 3 years and saw many changes within the channel. Starting from great, to not so great towards the end. Nothing “exclusive” within the channel anymore. That white glove service? Out the door now. I was asked to come back, but I declined the offer. Not everyone is made to be successful in IHX. And now, they hire anyone or everyone on the street.
The relationship between IHE and a tech, could be better. Working together would be great, but also respecting one another why we are both there. Yes, we are there for the sale, but the most successful ones in the channel actually take care of their customers without slamming them or lying to them. That’s what keeps the relationship and referrals going down the road.

…… After being threatened with a bad report to my manager I told IHX to “Get out, I’m busy, call your manager for the pin”
Later I was informed that the union and my manager favored IHX but security said I was correct. Just shows how deep the corruption is

You seem to be under the impression that their job was to help you install. You are 100% incorrect, their job is to sell. Anything that looks like they may be help YOU, is a guide to gain trust to make a sell from the customer. Go take another CPNI training bro

IHX arrived at many jobs I installed in the SE. During a business fiber install that included fiber splicing, pulling fiber drop, placing cat6 and installing a media converter in the back of a warehouse, IHX asked me for the customer’s pin so he could register the gateway. This was after most of the work was complete. IHX is lazy. I told him he was not authorized customer information. After being threatened with a bad report to my manager I told IHX to “Get out, I’m busy, call your manager for the pin”
Later I was informed that the union and my manager favored IHX but security said I was correct. Just shows how deep the corruption is.

IHX - here today, gone tomorrow. Promise the world and send the customer to the store to get anything you need. Ya'll .......... ya kinda says it all. The mentality of IHX tarnishes the image of T and leaves a stigma, otherwise it would not known as it is. Kinda like if it smells like it ; looks like it ; well then it probably is. We tell customers that IHX is a program for ex cons recently released from prison who are trying to find their way. Kinda makes sense with the loads of manure they sell the customers.

Yes, investigations everywhere. #1 item is FAN profile fraud, particularly the use of AARP and fake DD 214’s. #2 Cramming of ESIM activations with no usage. #3 Collusion with the old BiR teams to sell no use lines and phantom churn for tablets.

Y’all need to get your heads out of the sand. Does fraud happen in IHX? Yes. Do we see more of it in IHX? Yes.

That said, IHX absolutely demolishes any other consumer based channel in terms of postpaid voice production. There is a reason stores, techs, ops, etc are all seeing massive layoffs for the millionth time in the last 5 years and the only instance IHX saw was shedding the out of footprint directv only markets.

As for the techs - y’all should chill with what you say about IHX because y’all are a money pit and masters of making it look like you’re working when really you’re milking jobs an hour or two each go - your own version of defrauding the company.

If it generates adds having them around keep doing it. It does cheapen the installation visit. Ask your questions, get a feel and move on if it’s a no. So annoying when you got the guy pushing the sale from start to finish of install. You’re a guest in someone’s home, they invited the install or repair, don’t push high pressure sales. Get in, hit the points of the visit, the apps, pricing, promotional offers, move on. And do not make commitments for the tech. You have no clue what we’re doing, obstructions, managing load commitments, stay in your lane.

IHX sleaze hall energy, sours/ruins whole visit. They call for service. Techs out doing the thing, preforming a service customer requested then here comes the Kirby vacuum cleaner salesmen.

“I’m apart of the install team! But I can’t do sh-t but sell you phones!”

All day every day tell customers bill will be one thing and then surprise nowhere near what they promise makes sales take a charge back without the customer even knowing opening accounts in their name and closing them technicians coming to install an accounts that customers never even opened just so they can get sales, so yeah I would say fraud is going on
