I haven’t talked to a soul at DXC yet who has a lick of sense.

No impact to AT&T, just more headcount reductions

Apps moving to Azure is still happening though

I mean its not like working with Kyndryl was a peach. But anything is better than putting apps on Azure, where you virtually get no support and are on your own. Then they ping you for security vulnerabilities constantly. I take Satan's IT operations team over Microsoft and Azure.

Probably will cause layoffs in DCO...

It would be a show, they took over from Kyndryl, all former AT&T staff, they have almost no institutional knowledge for what they are handling. All the turnovers took place in less than a month with many large areas being left out due to both staffing and time constraints. Less than 100 people out of 1100 or more based kyndryl were offered to go to DXC and many did not accept the offer.

DXC largely relies on India based resources, which will not be dedicated solely to the AT&T account to provide support. DXC caused at least one outage by accidentally removing the system already in production. I am sure it will work in time but it will be a rough ride.

Analysis about the impact by someone who works in the AT&T IT department would be helpful.
