Op here. The goal of this board is to find someone who has info on layoffs and get as much info as possible. But the board is full of people who divert their frustration with management to the people who are actually sharing layoff updates. Look at the downvotes. I was telling you the truth whole time and the layoff deniers just keep posting bullsh-t to every single thread. I'm almost thinking it's WF doing this. Anyways. Next date is 8/22.

OP here. I'm really curious to understand why some people think all layoff news here are fake. Anyways, I, along with 80 other managers were in a pre notification session where HR told us how we should communicate.
My group of 20 is now 14, I will cut 3 and another manager will cut 1, bringing down to 10. 50% gone over the last 6 months. Keep denying layoffs, see if that helps you.

Yes when someone makes some id--tic apocalyptic prediction just to troll people into being scared, and they're wrong...they're still wrong. Not just by the technicality by the date either; there wasn't some mass layoff of non-hub people on 7/25, or in the days following as claimed. Just admit you were fooled, man.

There's no imagined argument, you're a hack layoff denier. Doesn't matter how many get laid off, you insist on running to your keyboard to claim that it didn't happen. If 50% of employees get laid off on Wednesday you'd pop up to claim "ha-HA! Told you it wouldn't happen on Tuesday!!! I'm right again!" Thousands of people are losing their jobs, and no one impacted really cares about your petty arguments about the minutiae of exactly when things go down. Losing your job because mo--ns in charge have no idea what they are doing su-ks no matter what day of the week it is. Obviously you won't get it until it happens to you, but that day is coming. Charlie will cut as many domestic workers as he possibly can, so we've probably got another 100k to go.

layoff happen on Tuesdays, a handful of admins in tech were laid off on the 25th. Thursday's used to be the day.

I see one of you trolls post this every time there's layoffs. You deny it happened and name-call the people who report the information as well as the dates layoffs occur. August 8th is the next scheduled layoff date and everyone who has even a minutiae of awareness knows that the first Tuesday following a pay day is the day layoffs are announced.
We also have gotten heads-up from a BUNCH of sources now including Mike Santomassimo himself that Q3-2023 will be an abnormally large number of layoffs because he had to disclose a special charge upcoming when they announced the Q2 earnings.
Wonderful news - hope we get the same treatment in Corporate Risk.
