It's a good buy right now because of the 4.5% dividend yield.
I purchased $1,000 worth of stock in my SSIP when I hired into Ford over 10 years ago. It is now worth almost $900. Horrible stock to buy, unless you are a day trader who plays the extreme volatility.
Own stock? No, but I have purchased put options to sell at $10 on March 2024. I fully expect F to be trading well below that after Q1.
Expensive inventory is building while the economy slowing and interest rates are high.
SIRP'd in August but I dumped all Ford stock 10 years ago. It just wasn't a good investment while preparing for retirement.
No I do not own one share of Ford Stock. Sorry but I do not feel comfortable with the management team or direction the company is going.
Not even a partial share.
