Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Cutting costs as their main focus

Mondelez could do better with the right people in the right positions. Unfortunately, the reality is different.
We can only guess, but I'm really interested when will cutting costs stop being the main focus of those who are now at the top?

I mean RDR JN literally said that we don't pay for quality (employees) What do you expect at this point. They hire bottom barrel people at bottom barrel pay then try to use fear to motivate you. That's their tactic. If you have any value for yourself, leave the company because they surely don't value you.

Cost cutting will always be around. However, companies like Mondelez don't seem interested in long-term, sustainable cost cutting. These are always looking for a so called quick fix. In my opinion that's because Management is rewarded for short-term performance. I sure I haven't expressed my thoughts well but hopefully it makes sense
