Nice try twisting this around. It wasn't the fact they sold AT&T that ran this candidate off, it was that they weren't going to be directly employed by Costco and get the same benefits as Costco employees
Well, I know we're all salty right now, but honestly, this one is not on AT&T. The company, that was trying to recruit her, is a third party reseller. All AT&T or DIRECTV stands at Costco, Sam's Club, Walmart and others, are not operated by AT&T or those stores. It was definitely unethical to advertise the job as a "Marketing positions", but it's also very common. Most door to door sales jobs are advertised as some kind of "marketing" job, because no one would be applying if they were honest about what the job is. Standing at Costco and asking every person that walks by if they're happy with their cell phone company is not that much better than your common door to door "marketing" gig.
