Was a Union Bank Employee mapped to the U.S. Bank, in IT. Was told recently of my end date. Package details to be discussed in coming weeks.

(From this board)
I heard UB IT Risk NY/NJ might get laid off but I don't know if it's true or not but thought I would post it here.
Did UB iT Risk NY/NJ get laid off?
I heard that UB IT Risk NY/NJ team might get laid off today. But I don't know if it's true. Does anyone know?
Seriously is UB IT Risk NY/NJ office is it still around?
@bfgu+1nc6RDMU
If you are still around repeating same "joke" for 3 month, probably the IT Risk NY / NJ teams are too

Count your blessings US Bank is the worst place to be employed. Happily left the company and living a better life!
Meanwhile they keep posting jobs for immigrants that no internal employees can apply for. It’s more of a notice. Someone has to look up this companies hiring practices. Why are they hiring immigrants while laying off Americans. Is that legal?
More re-orgs on the way to TOS. Their dopey middle management only knows this single trick.
My manager and 2 co-workers laid off this week, all US bank employees for 6-20 years each. Manager was replaced by a UB manager.
Interesting choices.
IT Risk NY / NJ teams watch out it’s coming.
Have you considered talking to your state dept that handles WARN Act complaints? It won't help but might put the spotlight on cr-ppy layoff practices.
Lucky to get laid off. This company treat there employees like garbage.
TOS is a terrible place to spend your career.
Just found out today I'm being laid off. In IT working on latest cloud migration. They wouldn't say why or how many it effects. May be a good thing. Ever since they went 75% offshore it hasn't been a good company to work for.
IT team in NY be like 😬
Sounds like it wasn't only UB employees. Direct hires + internal teams on the tech side were also let go this week. Seems like they're not breaking the news to all on the same day
If numbers i have heard are correct, most remaining tech folks got notice this week, a few hundred. Even those critical to the migrations and many who found a role at USB. They appear to be doing it across regions and over time and spread out dates to not trigger local, state, and national reporting requirements and the reputation hit that comes with that.
I was laid off recently in April…your package details will more than likely be available the day after in work day
When did you get laid off recently?
Sorry to hear, thank you for sharing.
Seems like the package should have been available with the news. Are you able to share once received?
