Hard to validate staying when the desired title in craft is now given to term employees. Big slap in the face to the guys putting in the time and work to get out of appendix F. Every year you got managers saying it could happen for you and a slot is never opened. The carrots gone and now if you don’t have a family to think about techs are leaving company in droves.

This is why I got out of the union.
Another motivation line of po-p from leadership. We’ll have more opportunities in these overcrowded hubs where we work with a lower quality of life since we get to spend a third of our lives commuting. Maybe if we’re lucky more yes men/gals will inspire us with there selfish acts after the rotten carrot promotion.
Maybe another overseas jobs will be an option?

Not that they had much of a chance to get on permanent before, but there’s no chance for them or anyone else to do anything else at this company with this perpetual hiring freeze going on.
