Thread regarding Ford layoffs

in case you are cut

  1. find an employment lawyer now, before it happens
  2. document all people who took the retirement last year when they "had to" and came back as agency
  3. use that as leverage.

might work, might not. annoys the he-l out of me that I'm worried about being cut and we have LL6's and 5's that came back as agency

poster @1uru+1ndOhcVv that is not true, or at least one of the two who came back in my department, I just talked to him (for a work reason). He stated his is on infinite contract but can be cut at any time. He is not planning on leaving the end of this month.

I know of 3, 2 in my department and 1 in another. I asked 1 of them if he has a day he's leaving. I'll post it

All of the retires from November that came back are done at the end of the month. They were told that they could not be kept under any circumstance (likely for Ford to avoid litigation from separated employees).

Agree. After those retirements and cuts, many in our area were hired back OR they had to hire purchased service(much more expensive) or others to do the work that could not be completed because of their bone head moves. Now they are asking us to cut again. Joke.
