Wellsfargo shareholders , you can save millions by outsourcing CEO , CIO, HR and Directors ( many in wellsfargo ) . They are overpaid and sleeping with eyes opened in the office. Why do you need these folks if everything is happening in the Night in India and Philippines ? Do it fast because they may be planning how you can open accounts in India and Phillippines because they have no customers here ( all here are bankrupt with no jobs). Putin is close to India but he never outsource jobs. He sold his inferior technology for profit. Smart guy
Yeah, and when all the problems come up (and there will be many) with the offshoring Chainsaw will be long gone.

Agree!
And if WF invested in proper technology and procedure infrastructure, many of the initial WF jobs that have gone to India and the Philippines for over a decade could have been saved. Invest up front and dividends come later and long term.
Also to another poster who said people are learning about WF offshore only now, it wasn’t easily noticeable to the average employee because it was a lift and shift of the mundane tasks. It has now ballooned into decision making and oversight of US work. And full processes and not just a few administrative steps behind the scenes. BIG difference.
The economics of offshoring have never made sense. You ship a job overseas to save on labor cost, but you are providing the same product/service to the market (the US) that you eliminated the position from. Suffice to say with job losses comes limits to the affected individuals buying power (i.e. employees are often customers). If you eliminated that buying power to save costs, but still need consumers to buy your product/service, how exactly does that happen if those consumers don’t have jobs because you shipped them overseas? It would seem that offshoring is a flawed short term profit pump with no long term sustainability. Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me.🤷🏻
If you think capitalists don't care, wait until you meet communists.
Just doing the needful
I'm a little surprised that in 2023 people are just finding out about offshoring.
Capitalism doesn't care about you.
Well regulated Capitalism may keep jobs here, unions may help, but just being upset about your job going elsewhere does nothing.
Make yourself irreplaceable. Get into another line of work.
Wells Fargo lived the good life at one time. Now we have the most corrupt CEO and the worst company. Let India have their way with charlie and the minions!
When Charlie says "We are better together", the "we" means Hudson Yards and Hyderabad. Everyone else gets S canned.
