Hogwash @pfy that is a Ford Friends and Family line. Ford continues to ship white collar jobs to India and Mexico at a rapid pace. Claiming they will keep the management and oversight (cough FnF gang cough) in Dearborn. Farley himself indicate 85% of US white collar jobs would be off shored. So nope never gonna buy another Ford. Quite happy with my Toyota.
Ford leadership will continue to pi-s away profits, and dilute and pollute the Ford talent pool all while prancing and preening for the media and Wall Street. So nope not one red cent to Ford.

To all of you responding buy domestic to keep whitecollar jobs, wake up. Billy and Jimmy don't care about Americans engineering Ford vehicles, it's all about the bottom line and that is why they are sourcing our jobs to LCCs. We always benchmark Toyota and never folled the lessons learned. If you look at the resale value of any Toyota it exceeds the value of a comperable Ford model. Good luck when you find out on Monday you have been sacked and replaced by a worker in a country where Ford does not manufacture or sell cars in volume at a profit.

“It felt very traitorous” until your forced to retire early and your health insurance is eliminated.

I bought a Toyota for a company lease car replacement. Two can play this F Y game.

It doesn't have to be all that life and death, but just ask yourself a personal question. I've asked myself this a few times over again, no matter how many times these OEMs and tier suppliers have laid me off, and regardless of how many of them may have pi---d you off....

Can you actually see yourself buying something not? I'm programmed in such a way to discard Toyota, Hon-duh, etc, that if I ever wanted to pull the trigger, I couldn't. I can't say what it is, but it's just not effing happening. Working in the quality field, I understand they have products with world class quality output. But, it's not enough to purchase their products for me. It feels very traitorous.

Perhaps the mind control is strong and engrained, but I will still buy Ford, Stellantis, and GM, over any other name, even though I hate one of those brands mentioned. Everything else seems Un-American.

Wrong.

The importance of buying American is to:

*Support unions

*Protect national security

The importance of buying from an American automaker is to preserve white collar jobs. Where do all the automotive profits go? Would you rather have profits sent overseas, or stay mostly in the U.S.? Many southeast Michigan families would be greatly impacted if Ford or GM were to go out of business. Not so much for Toyota, Honda, or Tesla. Think about American-profits, not just American-made.

Just more evidence to show that electric cars are not economically viable not to mention damage the environment. How many more assembly plants do you have to build that steal valuable agricultural land to grow food for poor people because they can’t afford their car payments!!!!!!
