Anyone had an open case (meaning you called and a case opened on your behalf) and got laid off while the case was still open??
WF has become a h3ll hole, peers are toxic, manager does nothing but bury head in the sand and it’s becoming unbearable. I’ve been holding out for lay off & severance as our work is now duplicative and can easily be picked up by another team, BUT according to Director level sources that isn’t likely to happen anytime soon.
I am fed up but also don’t want to lose my chances of severance. My concern is that an open HR or Ethics case opened on my behalf may flag me as a potential employee lawsuit risk for retaliation and I may NOT be displaced due to that. I know that sounds absurd as WF is far from proactive about risks but I’ve never called HR on someone and I need to consider that. I do know that little to nothing will come out of me calling in the end but also feel like enough is enough. At a minimum, the BS will be on record.
