The changes coming to the Public Sector are being shared and some leaders are giving their teams a heads-up on whats to come, while others are tight lipped and leaving their people hanging in the breeze. The challenge is with all the avps, sales managers and sales reps across the three segments, as they are to be combined into one sales org and whose to be kept - a significant number of the sellers have not performed well and to surplus higher performing sales managers and sellers will create potential legal problems if an higher performing older seller is let go in lieu of a younger poorer performing seller. The expectation is that at least 50%+ of the overall Public Sector managers and sellers will be surplussed
Everyone will be hit. A blood bath it will be. Many surprises and many years.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you think AVPs, then Directors and Sales Managers don’t know already you are naive. In turn, they have let their top performers and confidants on the team what is shaking out today thru Friday, which means posters on this board know.
