Stankey is desperate to show better profits and to bring the stock price up. Hence the layoffs and the stop on all wireless build outs and upgrades. They want to focus on fiber and leave the rest of the business and employees to suffer by layoffs and by forcing all back to the office. This is their plan, they want to upset everyone enough so they will leave on their own and not qualify for a severance package.
Another bright decision by Stankey, who failed with Time-Warner and he follows the same stupid decisions that his predecessor made with the t-Mobile failed purchase. Just pouring more and more money out the window. Stupidity at its finest.
