Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

When is PTO paid out after layoff?

I was part of the April 18th notification group, so June 16th was my last employee day. This Friday is payday and today the payslip is visible and it shows the normal pay for my last term but then $0.00 for an additional payslip also scheduled for June 23rd.

I had ~100 hours of PTO prior to layoff. Anyone know how the PTO payout works, or will I need to call HR or just wait it out?

IF you are resigning and have any control over when you do so, definitely make your last working day the first day of the next month. That way you get a little more PTO (1/12th of your allocated days based on service) just for working through that day.

F WF!

To make sure I understand, PTO continues to accrue during notice period, but since no one takes PTO during non-working notice period, you can cash out any PTO that accrues during the notice period? Sweet.

Like stated, I received mine right after notice period was up because you get pto accumulation during that period.

PTO payout end of your notice period. So 30 or 60 days depending on what state you are in.

The check with the $0 is used as a marker in the system for last employed paycheck. I received my PTO the following week like Monday or Tuesday with auto deposit.

I called HR and the $0.00 "extra" check was not for PTO. Expect the PTO check on 7/7

You should receive in a separate off-cycle paycheck soon. (at least that was my experience a few months ago.) Call the displacement team with any questions, they are super helpful.

You didn't have 100 hours of PTO. Remember it accrues monthly.
