Displays

Everytime I walk into a store it looks like nobody has touched my displays in a week. How hard is it to merchandise?! Management wants us to sell more when my ftows can't even handle what I have now. This structure is an absolute joke.

Spent 10 years in the south east region before M1. All of our SA’s were trash, they had to fire them or wait for them to move on to get rid of. They couldn’t wait to transfer the problems to other districts hyping them up, for you to hear about later how they failed out. I guess that’s what you get when you only hire one race for the job. BH and KM are complete joke bags, and do not know how to develop or hire capable DMs. All they are looking for is kiss a-s.

The only people I've known through the years that were the SA position were pathetic, couldn't punch themselves out of a wet paper bag, and absolutely did NOT deserve a company car. They all had no skills, never did their jobs, and the company just makes someone an SA when they fit a "quota" we are trying to fill, whether it was POC, little blond college grads, etc. Whatever focus the company was on, that's who the SA was. You think I'm wrong? One time all my "potential new hire" work with were all Asian. 8 different people in a row. Every. Single. One. SA is a made up, joke position for someone that does not have "it", but the company is trying to make the circle fit in the square nonetheless.

"Exactly! Not too hard to act all big when you’re not the one being told to hit projections.
Everybody is a good order writer when they don’t have a boss forcing them to order an extra $20,000 they don’t need"

You are a complete mo--n. It's not about being pressured into selling. You are NOT selling if you're ordering and it goes no where. You are feeling up a backroom. That's not selling. When I cover a territory, I shouldn't have to spend 4 hours in one store going through 6 unorganized pallets of backstock. Working 3 new pallets only for none of it to go out, because it was all sitting in backstock. I've worked on GREAT SRs territories, i'm not blaming all, but i'm blaming 90%. If you work in the Southeast region, you'd understand.

"There’s a reason you were an SA and they were sales reps. I’ve seen it every time. Something about you just didn’t cut it."

You're are right, because I'm not part of this "diverse" cultural Mondelez wants to have. Doesn't matter what kind of skills you have, it's all about to raise PR.

Its pretty easy to “clean up” a territory when you cover for a week and you get to leave. I mean, how hard is it to skip orders, send minimum orders, not sell anything, and not have to worry about hitting an actual objective on a regular basis? Not saying All SR’s are good at managing their territory but its not hard to be a vacation relief hero.

Why do you care at this point? The new bonus is literally not worth any stress at all about displays or sales. I’m just trying to not get thrown out of stores

There’s a reason you were an SA and they were sales reps. I’ve seen it every time. Something about you just didn’t cut it.

Another Sales Rep with a god complex. Speaking as a former SA, I always had problems with SRs. I'd have to clean up their route when I covered for that week. Constantly get yelled at by management and receivers that backstock is too high and too many holes on the shelf. This company has gone downhill and most of the tenure SR that are staying are the worst ones. "I'm just gonna ride it out" Y'all been riding it out for the past 15 years. Being a "Sales Rep" doesn't mean just over ordering and letting it sit there or expecting someone to clean up your mess. All so you can enjoy your little 100 dollar bonus.

Same. Our reputation as a Company has never been worse with the stores. I feel like a Janitor cleaning up the messes in stores on a regular basis. FTOW’s basically say “What do you expect for what I’m being paid”? There is an old saying “You get what you pay for”.
