I know you don't see it now, but if you were laid off with decent severance, you are one of the lucky ones. Ford has been in a downward spiral for years and its future is anything but promising. You have a chance to find a better job at a company that still respects its employees like Ford used to do once upon a time. Plus, they paid you to do that. I am not joking or being fictitious when I say I would love to have been in your shoes.

they can probably cut agency faster than ford employees but remember the agency workers are cheaper and dont cost healthcare...hence they cut the employees at first chance...
Ask any Contractor that gets 5 months of crummy unemployment how lucky you are, you should be thankful.
